Another method to go to the first browser is hold in the alt key and pressing the tab key once while still holding alt. Now keep alt held down and click on the first browser listed in the list of all programs shown to be running. Depending on what windows version you are running you may have to keep alt held down and repeatedly press tab to cycle through the programs you have running.
